MORE THAN A VACATION

Space to listen to what your life is asking of you

When exhaustion, confusion or the same patterns keep returning, stepping away from the noise can offer a different perspective.

The program combines preparation, mindfulness practices, personal support, integration work and genuine time to rest. Admission is confirmed only after an initial conversation and screening.

CARE AND PRIOR SCREENING

Contraindications and conditions of participation

Participation is not automatically confirmed. Before booking, each person must complete a confidential health and medication questionnaire. The team may request additional information, clearance from the healthcare professional treating you, or decline participation for safety reasons.

Do not make a payment without consulting us first if any of the following applies to you:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, or being under the age of majority;
  • Cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, arrhythmias or a history of stroke;
  • Epilepsy, seizures or another significant neurological condition;
  • Significant liver or kidney disease, or known fluid and electrolyte imbalances;
  • A personal history of psychosis, schizophrenia, mania or bipolar I disorder; recent psychiatric hospitalization; an acute crisis; or thoughts of self-harm;
  • Current use of medications, supplements or substances that may interact with any activity, especially psychiatric treatments, stimulants or medications that affect blood pressure.

Do not stop, reduce or change medication on your own. Consult the healthcare professional who prescribed it, and disclose every treatment during screening. This list is not exhaustive, and an initial consultation does not guarantee admission.

El Retiro experiences do not replace diagnosis, psychotherapy, medical care or emergency services. If you are going through a crisis or there is an immediate risk, seek professional or emergency care in your area.
